Building a business takes more than a good idea. It requires resources, resilience, support, and access to opportunities that allow entrepreneurs to move from survival to sustainable growth. Yet for many young women in Port Harcourt and surrounding communities, the greatest barrier is not ambition; it is access to capital.
Talented women are launching businesses, creating jobs, supporting families, and contributing to local economies, but many remain unable to access the funding needed to expand their operations and reach their full potential.
TPSF believes that when women have access to opportunity, entire communities benefit. Through direct monthly grants, we invest in women-led businesses that are already creating value and need support to grow further.
What We Do
Turning Potential Into Progress
The Her Business Grant Initiative exists to bridge the funding gap for young female entrepreneurs by providing direct financial support to women who are already building active businesses.
Over a four-month cycle, TPSF awards a ₦200,000 business grant each month to one deserving entrepreneur in Port Harcourt and surrounding communities.
This is not a loan. It is not repayable. It is a direct investment in a woman who has demonstrated commitment, resilience, and potential and simply needs additional support to move her business forward.
Beyond funding, the initiative creates visibility, recognition, and storytelling opportunities that celebrate women in business and inspire others to pursue entrepreneurship.
Eligibility Requirements
Who Can Apply?
Applicants Must:
- Be female
- Be between 18–30 years old
- Live in Port Harcourt or surrounding areas
- Own and actively operate a small business
- Have operated the business for at least 6–12 months
- Complete the TPSF application form
- Submit a short video pitch explaining:
- Their business
- Their journey
- How the grant would impact their future
