Why STEM Scholars
STEM Scholars is TPSF’s scholarship initiative dedicated to helping academically gifted girls from underserved communities access opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The world needs more women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Yet across Africa, many brilliant girls continue to face barriers that limit access to quality STEM education — not because they lack ability, ambition, or potential, but because financial obstacles place opportunity out of reach. Limited access to resources, mentorship, representation, and educational support continues to widen the gender gap in STEM fields.
TPSF believes talent exists everywhere. Opportunity does not.
STEM Scholars exists to help close that gap by creating pathways for girls to access education, leadership, and long-term opportunity.

The TPSF STEM Scholarship Program identifies academically gifted girls from underserved communities and provides scholarship opportunities designed to support both education and long-term personal growth.
